Hi there,

Welcome to my website. I have tried to make it little different to the usual pro triathlete website by looking to lift the lid on how I train, approach races and deal with the general trials and tribulations that come with being an Ironman triathlete. Where possible I have been open with my training, recovery and nutrition. My aim is to share my experiences  in the hope it can help some of you with your training, recovery and (fingers crossed) racing.

The section that will undoubtedly get the most focus will be the Engine Room area under Rocket Science but I would urge you to look around the other sections too as there is a lot more to delivering your best performance than just smashing yourself in the pool, on the bike or at the track.

A number of the articles are written by some of the experts that I have worked with along my triathlon journey, rather than me explaining what they have done and why I have given it over to them to explain in their own words. A big thank you to those that contributed on this website and everyone else who, over the past few years, have been helping to take me from a complete Triathlon newbie (wobbling away on my first bike) to where I am now, a person fortunate enough to be able to follow a dream  whilst meeting some fantastic people along the way.

I hope you find it useful and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Enjoy….. and keep smiling!
